Women in the hills of Uttarakhand are resilient, strong, and hardworking. Yet, due to geographic challenges and ongoing migration, they often lack access to sustainable livelihoods. Through the Kedarnath Prasad Project, we are creating meaningful opportunities for these women—empowering them with dignified employment while preserving local traditions and fostering sustainable development.
